Sterling Software (SSPL), a Chennai-based IT software product and services company, has appointed Suresh Kuppuswamy as its chief executive officer (CEO) with immediate effect.
SSPL is a subsidiary of CAMS, India’s largest mutual fund registrar and transfer agent.
“Kuppuswamy will spearhead SSPL in its next growth phase in new geographies, technology, service lines and develop global delivery solutions,” the company said.
“Under his leadership, Sterling Software plans to foray (into) EMEA (emerging) markets targeting asset management companies, large distributors and financial institutions,” SSPL said.
“Kuppuswamy is a TCS veteran and has consistently delivered outstanding growth in various geographies for over 15 years,” it said.
“As global delivery leader with IBM Germany for over five years, he crafted unique global sourcing models for operational efficiency that significantly increased bottom line,” the company said.
